The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent the note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of Venezuela's recognition of the independence and state sovereignty of Abkhazia.

The meeting of Kan Tania, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with William Henon, the new head of the Sukhum office of the UNICEF took place at the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry on August 31. The meeting was also attended by Gottfried Hanne, the former head of the office.

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was met by Bako Sahakyan, the President of the Republic of Artsakh on 28th of August.
