Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the
national holiday - National Unity Day.

It is noted in particular:

"National Unity Day, which commemorates the heroic events of 1612 is a powerful symbol of historical memory and the unwavering unity of the multinational and multi-religious of Russian people in the face of external threats. In the face of today's global challenges, the ability of the Russian people to consolidate, relying on values and traditions is truly an example for other nations striving to preserve their sovereignty and identity.

The Republic of Abkhazia highly values its strategic alliance and fraternal relations with the Russian Federation. We firmly believe that our bilateral cooperation, based on shared historical
memory, mutual trust, and commitment to the principles of justice and traditional values is a key factor in strengthening of bilateral cooperation."
