Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela arrived in the Republic of Nicaragua with a working visit on March 31,2019.
The 47-th round of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the South Caucasus which was attended by the representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, the Russian Federation and the United States under the co-chairmanship of the UN, OSCE and the EU took place on April 2-3 April 2019 in Geneva.
The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia was headed by Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with a the UNHCR delegation at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on March 27,2019. The delegation includes Pascal Moreau, the Director of the European Bureau, UNHCR; Francois Renault, the head of the European Bureau of the UNHCR; Johannes Van der Klaauw, the regional representative of the UNHCR in the South Caucasus; Yoko Akasaka, the deputy regional representative of the UNHCR in the South Caucasus.

In the information space there has never been a lack of tendentious publications devoted to Abkhazia. The existing reality is fed into them exclusively in dark colors and extremely subjective. Often the source of such publications are Georgian or sympathetic information resources. But often they appear on neutral Internet resources.
Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary General who arrived in Tbilisi to familiarize himself with the course of the command and staff exercises of Georgia and NATO, made a number of statements urging Russia to withdraw recognition of Abkhazia’s independence, stressing the North Atlantic Alliance’s sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
