Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Foreign Minister received the representatives of the HALO Trust at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, including Smart Nicholas, the Regional Manager for the Caucasus and the Balkans as well as Esmet Zade, the program manager in Abkhazia on October 7,2020.

On October 6, Damascus hosted the grand opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Walid al Muallem, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Ayman Susan, Ambassadors of the Russian Federation, Venezuela accredited to the Syrian Arab Republic and Cuba.

On October 5, in Damascus, a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, led by Alkhas Kvitsinia, with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Syrian Arab Republic Hussein Arnus took place.

On October 5, the Abkhazian delegation headed by Alkhas Kvitsinia met with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al Muallem at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.

On October 5, the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad received the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by Alkhas Kvitsinia at the residence of the President of Syria in Damascus.

The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Abkhazia Alkhas Kvitsinia, arrived in Damascus on the evening of October 4.

On September 29 in Brussels, NATO Secretary General J. Stoltenberg, during a press conference with Georgian Prime Minister G. Gakharia, made a number of statements, in which, in particular, he called for accelerating preparations for Georgia's admission to NATO. Stoltenberg did not forget to mention the continued support of the North Atlantic Alliance for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, and also called on Russia to withdraw recognition of the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

On September 29, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Iraklii Tuzhba met with the head of the AAH (Action Against Hunger) office in Abkhazia Erwin Blau.

On September 29, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev, who arrived in Abkhazia on a working visit.

Congratulatory addresses were given to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic during the solemn event which took place in Tiraspol in the premises of the Official Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in Transdniestria.
