On April 25, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits and the Head of the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of Abkhazia Chyngyz Rayimbekov.

The meeting was attended by Acting Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Odissei Bigvava and Iraklii Tuzhba, Head of the Department for Interaction with International Organizations of the MFA Saria Dzhopua. On behalf of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of Abkhazia - Assistant to the Head of Mission Boris Kazanba.

During the meeting, aspects of the Mission’s activities in Abkhazia were discussed, in particular matters related to the search for and identification of those missing during the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993.
