Today in Moscow a working meeting was held on the completion of restoration works and commissioning the national exhibition center of the Republic of Abkhazia at VDNH in the "Abkhazia" Pavilion

The meeting was attended by VDNH General Director Shogurov S.Y., Deputy General Director Zhuk E.I., Deputy General Director Tarasov A.A., Financial Director Rusyaev A.V., Head of the Department for Work with CIS Countries and External Relations Yaremko I.A.

The Abkhazian side was represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Bartsits O.M., Trade Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation Shamba O.S., Executive Director of the ICDC of the Republic of Abkhazia Lakoba O.O., and Head of the Technical Supervision Group Bazhenov S.M.

The parties discussed a number of technical and legal issues related to the completion of restoration work and priority measures to transfer operational responsibility to the Abkhazian side. The participants noted the high level of interaction and cooperation, as well as the unprecedented support from the Moscow Government.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Bartsits O.M. thanked the Moscow City Hall and personally the General Director of VDNH for their cooperation and expressed confidence that the long-term interaction between Abkhazia and VDNH, as the main congress and exhibition venue of the country, will continue and only develop.

In turn, Shogurov S.Y. noted the high level of events held by the ICDC and emphasized the importance of the presence of the national pavilion "Abkhazia" along with the CIS countries and regions of the Russian Federation.
