On 28-30 July, Daur Kove, Head of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry, takes part in the XII-th International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021", held in Kazan at the invitation of Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President.

Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia will take part in the 12-th International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021" which will be held on July 28-30, 2021 in Kazan, in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On July 19, 2021, Volodimir Zelenskiy, the President of Ukraine held a working visit to Georgia during which he visited the Abkhazian-Georgian state border. According to the Ukrainian media, Zelensky "familiarized himself with the security situation on the border with the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia" and expressed concern that "Russia is building up its military presence in Abkhazia, violating human rights. Additionally, Zelenskiy stressed that Ukraine and Georgia are united in their intentions to return the temporarily occupied territories on the platforms of leading international and regional organizations.

On July 15, 2021 Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia left on a working visit to the Republic of Nicaragua.

Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia has sent a congratulatory note to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transdniestrian Moldovan Republic on his birthday.

Daur Kove congratulated Vitaliy Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic on the day of foundation of the Transnistrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On June 29-30, 2021, the 53-rd round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the South Caucasus was held in Geneva with participation of representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, Russian Federation and USA under co-chairmanship of UN, EU and OSCE.

Garibashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia made a statement that the Georgian government will elaborate a strategy for the socio-economic development of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. “We plan to elaborate a strategy for the socio-economic development of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region. At the first stage, the concept of socio-economic rehabilitation of Gali and Akhalgori regions will be developed. The regular cooperation with the representatives of the civil society will be ensured, including within the framework of a specially created advisory council of experts,” he said.

The meeting between Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with Andrey Rudenko, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was held at the Russian Foreign Ministry in preparation for the 53-rd round of the Geneva Discussions on June 25, 2021.

The fourth meeting of the Commission of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Delegation of the Russian Federation on the delimitation of the state border and demarcation of the sea spaces between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation took place in Moscow on June 23-25, 2021.
