The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the Fatherland Defender Day.

Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister took part in the plenary session of the 2019 Russian Investment Forum "Success Factors: Ideas, Personnel, Competences" as the part of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by Jansukh Nanba, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister which was held in Sochi on February 14,2019.

Vito Grittani, the ambassador-at-large of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia met with Hussam Yeddin Ala,the Permanent Representative of Syria to the United Nations in Geneva on February 13,2019.

The regular consultations were held in Moscow within the framework of the foreign policy coordination mechanism established by the Memorandum between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia dated on March 11, 2015.

The Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia drew attention to the provocative statement of the official Washington which was made in connection with the latest events in Venezuela.

The meeting was held at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on January 25,2018.

The Official Representative Office of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was opened in Moscow. The ceremony was attended by Vadim Krasnoselsky, the PMR President.

26 years since the date of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is celebrated today.

The Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia drew attention to the statement by D. Zalkaliani, the Georgian Foreign Minister in which he calls on Russia and the “occupation regimes” to open checkpoints on the river Ingur. “Closing checkpoints” poses a serious threat to such a fundamental right as the free movement of people according to Zalkaliani. The head of the Georgian foreign ministry did not spread the reason for the temporary closure of the state border.
