On September 9, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Odissei Bigvava took part in the coordination meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry on the upcoming 65th round of International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia.

Issues of the upcoming round, scheduled for November 2025 were discussed in detail during the meeting.

At the meeting, the need to ensure strong security guarantees in the Transcaucasia by signing a legally binding agreement on the non-use of force between Georgia and Abkhazia on the one hand and Georgia and South Ossetia on the other was confirmed.
