The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Abkhazia Alkhas Kvitsinia, arrived in Damascus on the evening of October 4.

On September 29 in Brussels, NATO Secretary General J. Stoltenberg, during a press conference with Georgian Prime Minister G. Gakharia, made a number of statements, in which, in particular, he called for accelerating preparations for Georgia's admission to NATO.
