Today we celebrate a significant date – the 81-st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.

brahim Avidzba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Turkey, together with Yauz Atryshba, the President of the Federation of Abkhaz Cultural Centers in Turkey, and Shamil Makharia, the Chairman of the Abkhaz Cultural Center of Antalya as well as the leadership of the Cultural Center held a presentation of the Republic of Abkhazia at the Toroks Nature and Sports Club (TODOSKAR) in Antalya.

A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia is in the Republic of Turkey on a working visit. On May 5, 2026, a public and expert discussion meeting, organized by the Eurasian Society (Eurasien Gesellschaft e.V.) was held in Berlin. The discussion focused on energy security and the current situation in the European energy sector.

On May 5, a meeting between the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia and Kazbek Kokov, Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, took place in Nalchik as part of the Russian-Abkhaz Cross Youth Forum.

On May 5, the Russian-Abkhaz Cross-Border Youth Forum began in Nalchik, the capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by Tarash Khagba, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia for Youth and Sports is participating in the forum. The delegation includes Dzhemal Bganba, Head of the Department of Strategic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in the celebrations dedicated to Nicaragua's National Dignity Day at the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Nicaragua in Venezuela.

From April 20 to 30, 2026, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia completed a refresher course in "International Relations.
