On July 19, 2025, on the margins of the celebration of the 46th anniversary of the Victory of the Sandinista People’s Revolution, a friendly conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Yván Gil Pinto.

The ministers expressed mutual interest in intensifying bilateral interstate cooperation and exchanged views on further practical steps on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Oleg Bartsits invited his Venezuelan counterpart Yván Gil Pinto to visit the Republic of Abkhazia at any time convenient for him.
