On August 26, 2025, the offices of the Official Representations of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic hosted a meeting between the heads of the Official Representative Offices Alexander Vataman and Vitaly Yankovsky with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev.

The meeting, which took place on the Day of International Recognition of the Independence of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia, was held in bi- and trilateral formats.

Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev congratulated the diplomats on the Day of International Recognition of the Independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and conveyed to them congratulatory addresses from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the trilateral meeting, the participation of the Representative Offices in upcoming events of a republican nature was discussed, and joint plans were outlined, including a meeting with the Council of Young Diplomats.

Within the framework of the bilateral format of communication, Alexander Vataman and Vitaly Ignatiev discussed current issues of interaction between the Official Representative Office of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie, and also touched upon the topic of interdepartmental interaction between Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie, which was further developed in 2025.

At the end of the meeting, Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev went through the new office of the Official Representative Offices.
