On July 19, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Bartsits, who arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Nicaragua at the invitation of President Daniel Ortega, took part in the ceremonial events dedicated to the celebration of the 46th anniversary of the Victory of the Sandinista People’s Revolution.
On the sidelines of the official events, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits conveyed a greeting message from the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Badra Gunba to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega.
The congratulation reads, in particular:
"Let me present my compliments and send you a fraternal greeting on behalf of the leadership and people of the Republic of Abkhazia on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the triumph of the glorious Sandinista Revolution, which put an end to many years of dictatorship and tyranny!
The people of Abkhazia, who won their independence at the cost of difficult trials, who confirmed their unwavering determination to defend their inalienable right to freedom and independent development, wholeheartedly share with the people of the fraternal Republic of Nicaragua the joy of this national holiday! In Abkhazia, with a feeling of deep gratitude, we will always remember the fraternal support provided to our country by the President of the Republic of Nicaragua, Comandante José Daniel Ortega Saavedra and the people of Nicaragua.

I am profoundly convinced that your historical mission as President of the Republic of Nicaragua is extremely important for the stability of the entire Latin American region.
