Ibrahim Avidzba, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Turkey, met with Sergey Vershinin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting, a thorough exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest. Current aspects of cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Turkey, as well as prospects for the further development of friendly ties, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to cooperation with the Abkhazian Diaspora in the Republic of Turkey, including the implementation of joint cultural and humanitarian initiatives.

The parties confirmed their interest in further strengthening constructive cooperation between the Representative Office of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey.

At the end of the meeting, Ibrahim Avidzba presented Sergey Vershinin with a painting of the State Flag of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The meeting took place in a traditionally friendly atmosphere.
