On August 3-4, 2024, one of the largest international festivals in the Central American region, the International Festival of Art, Culture and Gastronomy, was held in the Republic of Nicaragua.

The Republic of Abkhazia was represented by the Embassy of Abkhazia in Nicaragua. The Abkhazian pavilion was traditionally of interest to Nicaraguans and representatives of 37 foreign countries represented at the festival.

The guests were treated to homemade chacha, adzhika and cheese. On the main stage of the festival, Abkhazian women's and men's traditional costumes opened the show of national costumes of the countries participating in the festival.

The Abkhazian pavilion was visited by Advisor to the President of Nicaragua Camila Ortega, Minister of Culture of Nicaragua Ramon Rodriguez, representatives of various government departments and diplomats accredited in Nicaragua.

The guests of the pavilion thanked their Abkhazian colleagues for their participation, were interested in the history and culture of our country and expressed interest in visiting the Republic of Abkhazia.

In turn, the Abkhazian diplomats thanked their Nicaraguan colleagues for the invitation to participate in such an important international festival and the opportunity to represent the Republic of Abkhazia.
