Ibrahim Avidzba and Yauz Atryshba attended a friendly reception hosted by Sergey Koritskiy, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ankara.

The reception included bilateral meetings with Alexey Ivanov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, Evelina Emuzova, Maxim Sidorko, First Secretary Military Attaché Captain 1-st Rank and Andrey Rusakov, First Secretary.

During the discussions, issues related to the development of relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation were discussed. In particular, they discussed cooperation between the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Turkey, the Abkhaz diaspora, and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkey.

Meetings were also held in Ankara with Talih Özcan, Republican People's Party (CHP) MP and Engin Özkoc, party council member. During the talks, an exchange of views took place on the diaspora's expectations, cultural activities, and projects for the future.
