The regular consultations took place in Moscow within the framework of the foreign policy coordination mechanism established by the Memorandum between the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia and the Russian Foreign Ministry of March 11, 2015.
The consultations were attended by Igor Akhba, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation and Alexey Pavlovsky, the Director of the Fourth Department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
An exchange of views on current issues in bilateral relations took place during the consultations as well as the topics of Abkhaz-Russian foreign policy interaction, including issues related to the training of students from Abkhazia in Russian universities.
