On July 11-12, 2023, the 58th round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasus was held in Geneva, which was attended by representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, the Russian Federation and the United States under the co-chairmanship of the UN, the EU and the OSCE.
On June 28, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Iraklii Tuzhba met with the Co-Chairs of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus - with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar, the UN Representative Cihan Sultanoğlu and the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for the South Caucasus Viorel Moșanu. From the Abkhazian side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Security Service of the Republic of Abkhazia Zaal Khvartskiia, officers of the MFA of Abkhazia Lasha Avidzba and Artur Gaguliia. Traditionally, the main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the agenda of the upcoming 58th round of the Geneva International Discussions.
On March 30, Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation met with Irakli Tuzhba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia at the Russian Foreign Ministry. From the Abkhaz side Alkhas Kvitsinia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation also attended the meeting.
On March 22, a videoconference was held between the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Co-Chairs of the International Geneva Discussions, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, on the eve of the 57th round.
On 9 November 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia hosted the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Iraklii Tuzhba with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus - the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, and the UN Representative, Cihan Sultanoğlu.

On October 5, 2022, the 56th round of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia was held, which was attended by representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, the Russian Federation and the United States under the co-chairmanship of the UN, the EU and the OSCE.
On September 14, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Iraklii Tuzhba met with the Co-Chairs of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia. The delegation of the Co-Chairs consisted of the UN Representative Cihan Sultanoğlu, the OSCE Co-Chairman at the GID Viorel Moșanu and the Chief of Cabinet of the EUSR for the South Caucasus Björn Kühne.
On May 31, 2022, Irakli Tuzhba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia met with the Co-Chairs of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia - with Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Cihan Sultanoglu, the UN Representative and with Viorel Moshanu, the OSCE Co-Chair for the IGD.
On November 16, Irakliy Tuzhba, Deputy Foreign Minister met with the co-chairs of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Trans-Caucasus - Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Jihan Sultanoglu, UN Representative and Annika Söder, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for the South Caucasus at the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry.
On June 29-30, 2021, the 53-rd round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the South Caucasus was held in Geneva with participation of representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, Russian Federation and USA under co-chairmanship of UN, EU and OSCE.
