Oleg Bartsits, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated the Ivan Gil Pinto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the confident victory of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the parliamentary and regional elections held on May 25.

In particular, it is noted:

"The election results testify to the full support of the people of Venezuela for the course pursued by the country's leadership for the progressive development of an independent state, in which the people can independently determine their own destiny, despite international pressure from outside.

The Republic of Abkhazia highly values the relations of friendship and mutual trust that have developed over the years of cooperation between our states. These relations are of particular importance to us.

We are ready fully to facilitate the further development of the entire range of bilateral cooperation in the spirit of strategic alliance and partnership."

Oleg Bartsits wished the friendly people of Venezuela peace and prosperity.
