Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Irina Agrba, Director General of the Abkhaz State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and the staff of the Abkhaz State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company on the founding day of Abkhaz Television.

It is noted in particular:

"On November 6, 1978, Abkhaz Television broadcast its first broadcast – an event that became a significant milestone in the history of our state and society, the result of the Abkhaz people's struggle for their rights.

During the tragic period of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992–1993, television staff demonstrated high professionalism and courage, continuing to fulfill their duties under the most difficult conditions and breaking the information blockade.

Abkhaz Television has been an integral part of our country's life throughout its existence, performing the important work of covering of current events.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs values the level of cooperation that has developed between the Ministry and the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (AGTRK) and is ready to continue this collaboration to provide information support for the Republic of Abkhazia's foreign policy."

Oleg Bartsits wished Irina Agrba and the AGTRK team good health, inexhaustible inspiration, creative success, and new achievements for the benefit of the Republic of Abkhazia.
