Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaly Ignatiev on the national holiday - Republic Day.

The congratulation reads, in particular:

"On this significant day, we pay tribute to the historical choice of the Pridnestrovian people, their resilience and unwavering will to defend their rights and freedoms.

Like the people of Abkhazia, the Pridnestrovians have gone through the most difficult trials, including the armed conflict of 1992, but remained faithful to the ideals of independence and self-determination.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, in the conditions of unprecedented external pressure and de facto blockade, has been steadfastly and effectively guarding national interests for many years, protecting and promoting the foreign policy interests of the Republic.
