In Sukhum, the memory of those missing in action during the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia 1992-1993 was honored.

The flower-laying ceremony in the Park of Glory at the Memorial to those perished in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia 1992-1993 was attended by the acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Iraklii Tuzhba.

The evening of memory of those missing in action during the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia 1992-1993 was held in the S. Chanba Abkhazian Drama Theater. A photo exhibition with photographs of those missing during the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993 was opened in the foyer of the theater.

The International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, which is also called the International Day of Missing Persons, is commemorated on August 30.
