On March 6, the meeting took place in Moscow between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Tania and the Vice-Rector for Master's and International Programs of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations Andrei Baikov.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba.
Issues related to the enrolling of citizens of Abkhazia, students of secondary schools in MGIMO for the 2017-2018 school year were discussed.
The Vice-Rector informed Kan Tania about the progress of 43 students from Abkhazia studying at MGIMO.
The sides expressed readiness for further cooperation.
