In October, the Circassian Cultural Association of Cologne celebrated its 50-th anniversary. Hibla Amichba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany congratulated the Association and its Chairman, Irfan Kenet, on this significant date.

It is noted:

“The work done by you and your predecessors over the past half century is difficult to overestimate. Considering the fact that the overwhelming majority of representatives of our peoples live abroad, preserving national identity and strengthening of reliable bridges between the diaspora and the historical homeland has been and remains our most important task. Its solution will allow us to preserve our peoples, their high culture, as well as the unity of the Adyghes and Abkhazians for the sake of the future, wherever we are. For our part, we will try to make our feasible contribution to achieving this goal.”
