On June 5, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits held a working meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation. During the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia to Russia Alkhas Kvitsiniia briefed the Minister on the current work of the Embassy.

The meeting emphasized the importance of intensifying the work of the Embassy in the context of developing and strengthening relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation, as well as in the matter of establishing new and increasing existing contacts with diplomatic missions of foreign states in Russia.
