The meeting of Kan Tania, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, with Johannes van der Klaauw, the UNHCR regional representative in the South Caucasus, the head of the UNHCR office in Abkhazia Aziz Rahjo and the representative of UN-Women in the South Caucasus Yerika Kvapilova, took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

At the beginning of the meeting Ms. Kvapilova briefed Kan Tania on the activities and plans of the UN-Women in the Republic.

Projects implemented by UNHCR in Abkhazia as well as the plans of the organization for the next year were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
