In Sukhumi, the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 was honored. Oleg Bartsits, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia attended the flower-laying ceremony at the monument to an unknown soldier.

Today we celebrate a significant date – the 81-st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.

brahim Avidzba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Turkey, together with Yauz Atryshba, the President of the Federation of Abkhaz Cultural Centers in Turkey, and Shamil Makharia, the Chairman of the Abkhaz Cultural Center of Antalya as well as the leadership of the Cultural Center held a presentation of the Republic of Abkhazia at the Toroks Nature and Sports Club (TODOSKAR) in Antalya.

A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia is in the Republic of Turkey on a working visit.
