On June 11, 2026, an online meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Oleg Bartsits, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Vitaly Ignatiev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers:

- implementation of shared foreign policy priorities of Abkhazia, Pridnestrovie, and South Ossetia;

- current international situation surrounding the republics, factors influencing the socioeconomic development of these states;

- promising areas and forms of joint foreign policy cooperation.

Reports were presented by Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia; Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic; and Akhsar Dzhioev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.

In his opening remarks, Oleg Bartsits noted that the current international situation is characterized by the emergence of new challenges and threats in the South Caucasus and the Eastern Black Sea region. "We are closely monitoring the emergence of new challenges and threats and are promptly developing responses to them," the Minister said.

Oleg Bartsits noted that "we are watching with great concern the processes unfolding around our friendly and allied state, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. We pay tribute to the courage, competence, determination, and resilience of our Pridnestrovian colleagues. Our friends are working under the most challenging conditions, and we are clearly aware of this. Nevertheless, the determination and proactiveness demonstrated by the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commands great respect."

The Foreign Minister expressed his intention to further strengthen the spirit of alliance and partnership. "We are planning to work on new, promising, and important formats for our interaction. This is our fundamental approach. We will continue to uphold and develop precisely these principles of our cooperation. I am confident that today's meeting—and this format is very important for all of us, for the three countries. It has, of course, been renewed, and we are obliged to fill it with new, concrete, and effective content."

Oleg Bartsits noted that "all our foreign policy activities are carried out with the direct, partnership-based, friendly, and allied support of the main guarantor of our states' security, our ally and partner, the Russian Federation. We maintain our cooperation at a high level, infusing it with new content and new formats, and we will continue this work. Maintaining this level of effectiveness and intensity in our cooperation is vitally important for us."

A Joint Declaration of the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, and the Republic of South Ossetia was adopted during the meeting.
