The Fourth Forum of Young Diplomats of the Countries of the Eurasian Space was held in Moscow on July 19-21, 2017 within the framework of the general topic - "Information Technologies in Modern Diplomacy and Information Security" organized by the "Znak" Analytical Club of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry with the assistance of the A.M. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.

The Forum was attended by the representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of South Ossetia.

The Republic of Abkhazia was represented at the Forum by Astanda Pataraya, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, Inar Ladaria, Deputy Chairman of the Council and Svetlana Otyrba, member of the council.

The Forum is the unique platform for informal dialogue between young diplomats from the countries of the Eurasian space, where young specialists have the opportunity to exchange views on the global and regional agenda and try to find ways to resolve existing problems.

The Forum was attended by Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Kosachev, the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Andrey Krutskikh, the President's Special Representative for International Cooperation in Information Security, Vitaly Solonetsky, the Head of the Directorate for work with partners and students as well as other Russian experts.

The delegates also visited the MAKS-2017 air show at the Zhukovsky airfield as the part of the cultural program.

The Declaration of the International Forum of Young Diplomats of the Countries of the Eurasian Space was adopted at the end of the forum, according to which the Forum participants supported the idea of ​​holding the first International Forum of Young Diplomats on the margins of the World Festival of Youth and Students, and also welcomed the initiative to establish the International Association of Young Diplomats as an international open platform to hold the meetings and exchange views on key issues on the international agenda.
