The Ministry of Foreign Affairs draws the attention of guests and tourists visiting or planning to visit the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as large travel companies and online resources, to the fact that the situation in the Republic is completely stable and calm.

The political crisis that arose in mid-November was local, domestic in nature and was completely resolved within the constitutional framework. The situation in the country is calm, government bodies are carrying out their functions in a regular mode. Any statements about alleged unrest on the territory of the country today are incorrect and groundless.

In connection with the above, we inform you that there are no grounds for concern or risks to the safety of citizens arriving in the Republic of Abkhazia for vacation or for any other purposes.
