On August 19 Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia hosted a meeting with Garry Kupalba, the Head of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia

At the beginning of the meeting, Harry Kupalba congratulated Daura Kove on his next reappointment to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and wished him success in his work.

Within the framework of the meeting Garry Kupalba, the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of PMR in the Republic of Abkhazia invited Daura Kove to the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic, and also conveyed an invitation from Vadim Krasnoselsky, the President of the TMR to Aslan Bzhania, the President of Abkhazia.

Daur Kove, in turn, thanked Garry Kupalba for the invitation, noting the importance of the work carried out by the TMR Office and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.

The meeting participants also discussed problems and prospects of bilateral interstate cooperation.

September 2, 1990 - is the day of the founding of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
