On October 22, 2018, a meeting was held between Sergey Shamba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Vladislav Kulikov, the head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Abkhazia. The meeting was also attended by Natalia Kayun, an employee of the Representative Office.

Sergey Shamba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs noted the traditionally friendly relations with the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo and expressed hope for the continuation of these ties.

Vladislav Kulikov told the Minister about the current activities of the Representative Office, the most important projects planned for implementation.

The participants of the meeting discussed current issues in the field of education, in particular, the provision of quotas for the training of applicants from the Republic of Abkhazia in universities of the Russian Federation, science and culture, etc.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop constructive cooperation.
