At the invitation of Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in a ceremony dedicated to Russian Diplomats' Day.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the monument to the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin in Ezequiel Zamora Park in Caracas.

Zaur Gvadzhava, Abkhaz Ambassador congratulated Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov and the staff of the Russian diplomatic mission on their professional holiday. Also Dmitry Derevinsky, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, Eduard Sokolov, Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy, representatives of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the media were participating in the ceremony.
