On September 2, 2024, at the invitation of the Government of Nicaragua, Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua and Alias Aiba the Counselor- Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia attended a ceremonial event dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Nicaragua.

The event was attended by: President of Nicaragua, Comandante Daniel Ortega, Rosario Murillo, Vice President of the Republic, members of the Government of Nicaragua, diplomats accredited in the country, as well as representatives of the armed forces of Russia, Venezuela, China, Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.

Daniel Ortega gave a congratulatory speech in which he spoke about the history of the formation of the Armed Forces of Nicaragua. He also touched upon a number of current international political issues, in particular, calling on Western countries to recognize the constitutionally elected Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela and respect the choice of the Venezuelan people. The President of Nicaragua expressed solidarity with Russia in the fight against modern neo-Nazism in Ukraine.

Comandante Ortega noted the bloody conflict that Israel has committed against the Palestinian people and expressed confidence that the main asset of the emerging new world order should be a world without wars, which will allow countries and peoples to build their future.
