On September 2 and 3, at the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua Inar Ladariia and Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in Nicaragua Alias Aiba attended events dedicated to the 46th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Nicaragua.
The key moment of the events was the speech of Comandante Daniel Ortega. He stated that in the modern world, the protection of peace is a primary responsibility, and strongly condemned the sending of US warships to the Caribbean, calling these actions an act of intimidation of Latin American governments and peoples.
Ortega expressed full solidarity with Venezuela and its leader Nicolás Maduro, and called for honoring the memory of fallen Nicaraguan heroes, whose legacy "obliges us to continue the fight for peace."
