On December 9, 2025, Inar Ladariia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua, and Alias ​​Ayba, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy, ​​attended the opening ceremony of the documentary film festival "RT. Doc: Time of Our Heroes," which took place in the Grand Hall of the National Cinematheque of Nicaragua.

In an interview with RT, Inar Ladariia noted that this intercontinental festival was successfully held in the Republic of Abkhazia in November of this year with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. He also emphasized the importance of the festival's format, which is dedicated to patriotic education of youth and raising awareness among citizens across various continents about modern-day heroes, human qualities, and the struggle between good and evil.

The Abkhazian Ambassador congratulated Ekaterina Yakovleva, General Producer of the "RT. Doc: Time of Our Heroes" festival, on the successful opening of the festival in Nicaragua and its expansion.

Ekaterina Yakovleva, in turn, noted the successful collaboration with the Abkhazian side in hosting the festival in November of this year and the role of the heroic Abkhazian volunteers participating in the special military operation.
