On September 11, 2025, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia to Germany Khibla Amichba took part in the conference "From Passive to Active Deterrence - Russia's New Security Policy and Geopolitics" in Berlin, held by the Eurasian Society.

The discussion focused on a study prepared by Russian experts: Director of the Institute of Global Military Economy Dmitry Trenin and Dean of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics at the Higher School of Economics Sergey Karaganov.

The study was presented by Dr. Siegfried Fischer, co-founder of the Berlin Institute for Transatlantic Security, publicist and author of books. The head of the Society, political scientist and writer Alexander Rahr, experts and specialists in transatlantic security gave their comments.

The participants discussed key directions of Russian security policy and their impact on international relations.
