To mark the 213th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Syrian Arab Republic, Jose Biomorgi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic, Muhammad Ali, took part in a special screening of the documentary “The Battle of Carabobo."

The event took place at the Al-Asad House of Culture and Arts in Damascus.

During the event, Muhammad Ali conveyed congratulations from the Government and people of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Government and people of Venezuela on this significant day in the history of Venezuela and highly appreciated the bilateral relations between the governments of both countries, based on friendship and mutual respect.

The event was also attended by the Head of the Administration of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mansour Azzam, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ayman Marcel Raad, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Syrian Arab Republic.
