Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic met with Alexandr Efimov, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of relations with the Syrian Arab Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the visit, Muhammad Ali congratulated Russian Ambassador Alexander Efimov on Russia Day, wishing well-being, peace, new victories and prosperity to the Russian people.

The Ambassador of Abkhazia also noted that the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation are inked by strong bonds of fraternal friendship and trust.

Alexandr Efimov, in turn, noted the special importance of Abkhaz-Russian relations and expressed his readiness to provide assistance and support to the Abkhaz diplomatic mission in the SAR.
