Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic met with Ms. Ahed Sharifa, Chairman of the Board of the Syrian Family Dialogue Foundation.

During the meeting, Ms. Sharifa presented Muhammad Ali with a certificate of appreciation from the foundation as a sign of recognition and gratitude to the Government and people of Abkhazia for supporting of the Syrian people after the earthquake of 2023.

Muhammad Ali, in turn, thanked for the attention and emphasized the deep ties between Abkhazia and Syria.

The diplomat also noted the desire of the Abkhaz leadership to strengthen relations with Syria in all areas of mutual interest.
