On May 9, 2025, a number of celebratory events dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Berlin.

On behalf of the Republic of Abkhazia Khibla Amichba, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany and representatives of the Abkhaz diaspora took part in the official ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial to Soviet Soldiers in the Tiergarten Park.

The events began with the traditional procession of the "Immortal Regiment", which passed from the Brandenburg Gate and gathered participants from all over Germany. Festive concerts were held in various memorable places in Berlin uniting representatives of different generations.

The final chord of the memorable day was a festive concert in the Russian House, in the program of which both young performers and professional artists took part. One of the musical numbers was the orchestral "Flying Waltz of Victory" - the author's composition of Hibla Amichba, which sounded like a sincere dedication to all who fought for peace.

"For me, as the granddaughter of a soldier who went missing during the Great Patriotic War, it is a great honor to participate in the celebratory events of May 9. It is especially symbolic that in honor of the 80-th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in Berlin, my musical dedication - "Flying Waltz of Victory" - was performed, - noted Hibla Amichba.
