On October 22, the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation hosted a ceremony to Alexander Khokholikov, award the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia who completed his mission in Nicaragua, with the jubilee medal "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia is 30 years old" for his services in strengthening Abkhaz-Russian cooperation in the field of diplomacy.

The award was presented to the Russian diplomat by Alkhas Kvitsinia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia to Russia on behalf of Sergey Shamba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Alkhas Kvitsinia thanked Alexander Khokholikov for the support he and his team provided to Abkhaz diplomats, and wished him further success in serving the Fatherland.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador thanked his Abkhaz colleagues for their attention and expressed confidence in the continuation of diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.

During the event, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for further cooperation and strengthening of Abkhaz-Russian interstate relations. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
