During the Easter holidays in Germany, from April 3rd to 5th, the traditional festival of the Circassian-Abkhaz diaspora in Europe was held in Bad Tölz (near Munich). The goal of such gatherings is traditionally to unite the diaspora across generations.

The event began on Friday evening with welcoming speeches by the chairmen of Circassian-Abkhaz cultural centers in Western Europe and Turkey.

These days included master classes led by Shamil Trapsh and Sendy Amichba, book presentations, historical film screenings, lectures on the history of the Caucasus, and workshops for children. Artists from across Europe and directly from their homeland delighted the audience with their performances.
The culmination of the event was the Sunday finale on the historic Odeonsplatz square in Munich, where diaspora youth staged an impromptu concert of national music and dance.
