Potsdam hosted an evening dedicated to the Republic of Abkhazia as part of a cultural and business exchange. The event, organized at the invitation of the German organization "Old Tablers" and its board member Jörg Baut, was attended by representatives of business and cultural circles of Germany.

The Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany, Khibla Amichba, speaking to the guests, expressed gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to present Abkhazia at such a significant venue. In her speech, she also noted the historical ties between Abkhazia, Germany and Europe as a whole.

During the meeting, the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, Wolfgang Matzke, presented the products of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia, told about the modern development of the republic, its current life, as well as its tourism and investment potential and opportunities for visiting.

During the event, a film by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia was shown in English, which aroused great interest among those present. Guests of the evening actively asked questions to the speakers, showing a sincere interest in Abkhazia. Many of them expressed a desire to visit the republic to see its natural beauty and get acquainted with its cultural heritage.
