On July 18, 2025 Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of Milton Rengifo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in a ceremonial event dedicated to the 215-th anniversary of Colombia's Independence Day.

The ceremonial act was headed by Ambassador of Colombia Milton Rengifo, Rander Peña, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin American Affairs and Alfredo Ruiz Angulo, Ombudsman of Venezuela.

The event was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, the media and other guests.
