On May 19, 2025 Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in commemorative events on the 130-th anniversary of the birth of the Nicaraguan revolutionary, General Augusto Cesar Calderon Sandino at the invitation of Daisi Torres Bosquez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Daisi Torres Bosquez, Ambassador of Nicaragua to Venezuela delivered a speech at the event. Then, wreaths were laid at the monument to Augusto Cesar Calderon Sandino.

During the event, Zaur Gvadzhava congratulated Daisi Torres Bosquez on such an important date for the entire people of Nicaragua.

The ceremony was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, media and other guests.
