On October 6, 2025, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela participated in a ceremony dedicated to Honduran Soldier's Day and the birthday of General Francisco Morazán at the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Honduras.
The ceremony was led by Scarlet Romero, Ambassador of the Republic of Honduras to Venezuela, accompanied by Rubén Darío Molina, Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Alfredo Ruiz Angulo, Ombudsman.
Also present at the ceremony, held at the sarcophagus of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in the National Pantheon in Caracas were Tatiana Pugh Moreno, Deputy Minister for Asian, Middle Eastern, and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Venezuela, the media and other guests.
In Honduras, October 3-rd is Soldier's Day, dedicated to the memory of General Francisco Morazán Quesada. He is a symbol of Central American union and embodies the struggle for justice and freedom in the country.
