On May 5, 2025, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the invitation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Deysi Torres took part in a ceremony dedicated to the celebration of National Dignity Day of Nicaragua.

The ceremony was headed by Deysi Ivette Torres, the Ambassador of Nicaragua who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Latin American Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rander Peña and the Ombudsman of Venezuela Alfredo Ruiz Angulo.

During the event, Zaur Gvadzhava congratulated the Ambassador of Nicaragua on the celebration of such an important date for the country.

The event held in the National Pantheon in Caracas was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the media and other guests.
