On June 23, 2025 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in an extraordinary meeting with Vice President Delcy Rodriguez and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yvan Gil Pinto.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Vice President Delcy Rodriguez presented to the diplomatic corps accredited in Venezuela the proposal of President Nicolás Maduro Moros to hold a Summit for Peace and Against War. The Vice President also reported that this address was conveyed to the heads of world states.

The event was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry and the media.
